These interactive live workshops are the perfect place to develop your learning about bitless bridles, understand fitting with anatomy and transitioning techniques.

CPD Certificates are presented at the end of the workshop.

What we'll cover...

Bridle Design

We'll cover how each style of bitless bridle works and delve in to various contact points in a welfare context.

Bridle Fit

Whole bridle fit including bitted & bitless bridles. We'll cover bitless bridle fit in relation to anatomy.

Transitioning to Bitless

Demonstrating ground & ridden techniques to effectively communicate with a bitless bridle.

Meet your Tutor

Phillippa Christie is has spend many years as a bridle fit researcher, bridle designer and appointed expert for multiple international magazines including Your Horse and Barefoot Horse. In this video Phillippa shares the story for her original Bitless 101 Guide (currently being re-published with release expected in Summer 2024).

I learnt so much about Equine psychology and fun things to do with my pony to build on our bond. I realise now how very clever he is and how much he enjoys working. He worked with various handlers during the weekend and gained so much valuable experience for such a young pony being only 3 years old. I wanted to drop you a note to say how interesting I thought the course was, particularly how you put the teaching into the context of both the science and the herd observation. Personally, I love the blend of science and intuition, experience and feel and I think you did a really good job of bringing these elements together.

Phillppa is talented and has a deep level of understanding for horses, which shows in everything she does. We ran a 2 day clinic in our yard Amusant Equestrian with and it was so much more than I expected. Everyone that attended took home new skills for training their own horses, and each person enjoyed it immensely with the question begin asked... when is the next clinic being held ?

Got the [Bitless Masterclass] dvd and book for Xmas, absolutely love it, so much to learn but all explained in an easy to understand way.

I was very impressed with her depth of knowledge and experience and enthusiasm to engage with every participant and their horses. I personally came away with a totally new perspective on horse training!

It was really amazing watching you work, and actually seeing my horse gain confidence !!

Allowing the horse to choose best bitless to suit their preferences as opposed to solely ours. It changed that perspective. The clinic was incredibly inspirational and I highly recommend attending a day. Phillipas presentation skills and warm engaging nature allowed us to feel comfortable asking any questions and I came away feeling more confident in my abilities to use a bitless in the future.
