Positively Fun Workshops

This is a workshop based on Equine Psychology, understanding and applying it in a fun way to develop a more positive equine partnership. Positive Horsemanship is a collaboration of techniques aimed to help you support your horse in various situations, from worming to mounting block, groundwork and even playing football.

Depending on the venue you can bring your own pony, but most venues we will have horses available to work with – please check on individual workshop details.

Workshop attendees will receive a Positive Horsemanship Level 1 Certificate

About Clinics

At clinics (2-3 days), participants are invited to bring their horses to explore deeper levels of technique and to follow up techniques. We will cover all aspects of practical application for different areas of care and training to gain confidence in applying for multiple situations. Can include loading, medical, groundwork, ridden work and games as examples. Each clinic is tailored to the needs of the individual horses attending.

Clinic attendees will receive a Positive Horsemanship Level 2 Certificate

Become a Practitioner

If you have attended a Workshop or Clinic and would like to take your training further to become a practitioner of Positive Horsemanship you are welcome to stay with me at my home to train on a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 basis. You will be invited to work with horses of different abilities and training, to problem solve and gain skills in both practical application, theory, record keeping and planning.

On completion you will receive a Positive Horsemanship Level 3 Practitioner Certificate, starter kit, ready made documents and continued support.

To continue as a Practitioner level, repeat courses at least once in 12 months are required. Membership will also include access to insurance and continued professional development.

Please contact us and tell us more about yourself and why you would like to become a practitioner.

This workshop and clinics are suitable for both ridden and non ridden equines- attendees can include both children and adults and you don’t need to own a horse to come along.

Children are welcome at both workshops and clinics. Riders must be aged over 4 (under 8 years lead rein only) and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Please see individual events for child concessions.

Equine Partnership is a PRO-Able business, people of all abilities are welcome. Please contact venues directly to enquire about accessibility.
