Positive Horsemanship based on understanding and applying equine psychology to develop a more positive training experience.
The 1 day workshop aims to introduce horse owners and professionals in to the practical application of Positive Horsemanship through group work and a demonstration by Phillippa. This workshop is designed for anyone – whether currently owning a horse or not, to gain confidence in recognising behaviours, body language and how to respond and watch first hand, teaching methods without force or pain.
Workshop attendees will receive a Positive Horsemanship Level 1 Certificate
This clinic is ideal for horse owners looking to improve their knowledge on the latest science based training methods and increase confidence to implement positive training techniques. This clinic also begins to examine human behaviour and how we influence the horse (knowingly or not). All day 2 participants will have the opportunity to create a training plan to start work on and take away. This can be followed up with a camp or online training sessions with Phillippa.
You do not need any experience of positive horsemanship to attend this clinic. Suitable for riders of all disciplines!
Clinic attendees will receive a Positive Horsemanship Level 2 Certificate
Participants are invited to bring their horses to camps to explore deeper understanding behaviour, follow up the development techniques and also problem solve a particular behaviour (provided it will be suitable to the environment). We will cover all aspects of practical application for different areas of care and training to gain confidence in applying for multiple situations. Can include loading, handly, care, groundwork, ridden work and games as examples. Each clinic is tailored to the needs of the individual horses attending.
It is advised that participants wishing to apply for a camp have already attended a workshop or clinic.
Camp attendees will receive a Positive Horsemanship Level 3 Certificate
Workshops are suitable for horse owners, professionals or anyone related to the equine industry.
